What is Westarity:
If you are interested in setting up payroll deductions that will go to Westarity, please reachout to HR at firstname.lastname@example.org. Any funds provided to Westarity will show up on Box 14 of your W2 and you can make changes to the amount or stop deductions at any time.

At times, there may be situations where a team member discloses they are in a tight spot whether its funds or life in general. We would like to have Westarity be used as a liaison if one team member wishes to assist another directly. This is for any employee in any of our locations, including international locations.
Since Westarity is in its very early stages of setting up a foundation for employee assistance, we are finding that our current capacity is to assist 2 team members per quarter. As more employees sign up for charitable payroll deductions to Westarity, our available pool of funds will increase - especially because Westward360 matches what you contribute! As that pool of funds grows through the contributions of both the employees and the company, the amount of assistance that will be available to those team members who may find themselves in need of it will also increase, along with the number of people per quarter that are able to apply for it. Westarity will be able to assist employees in October 2022 as the next opening for applications. Other items to keep in mind with assistance for team members:
1. If the assistance is for an offshore team member and its monetary assistance, the wire transfers are done at the end of the month. If the request is of an urgent matter, Westarity may not be the best medium to offer assistance. For sending items to the offshore team, items are sent about twice a year and takes about 6-8 weeks to arrive.
2. In the early stages of Westarity, when requesting assistance for an internal team member, we believe its best that the request is for the team member themselves and not a relative or neighbor or friend that may need the assistance. As Westarity grows, we absolutely want to help as many people as possible but during this first year, it will be very difficult to approve those kind of requests.
We don't wish to put any employee in a situation that may be awkward whether its being asked or wanting to help but not sure how to help. We want to make sure these are organic conversations and not forced upon nor should this be done on a continuous basis. All information on this form will be kept confidential except for the Westarity Committee, HR, Jackie for the PH team and the employees involved.
This is also not a guarantee but Westarity will try all options to make the request a possibility.
