Opening a Wintrust Account

Overview

This article explains the process for opening new Checking, Savings, Money Market, or Certificate of Deposit accounts with Wintrust Bank. The required documentation and steps vary depending on the type of account being opened.

Opening a Checking Account

Prepare the following documents:
  • New Account Checking Form (see downloadable form)
  • Screenshot of Secretary of State good standing certificate
    (view SOS Good Standing)
  • Property Management Agreement (for new business accounts only)
  • Lockbox ID (same as your Vantaca ID, provided by New Business team)

Submit Documents
Email the completed documents to:

Processing
Daniel O'Connor will forward the documentation to Kelly Spain at Wintrust Bank for processing.
Processing Time: New accounts are typically opened within 3-5 business days after Wintrust receives the completed documentation.

Opening a Savings/Money Market Account

Prepare the following documents:
  • New Savings Account Form (see downloadable form)
  • Screenshot of Secretary of State good standing certificate
    (view SOS Good Standing)
  • Property Management Agreement (for new business accounts only)
  • Lockbox ID (same as your Vantaca ID, provided by New Business team)
Important: Please make sure to select which type of account is requested on the form.

Opening a Certificate of Deposit Account

Complete Request Form
Complete the CD/Special Assessment Account Request Form (Google Form).

Prepare the following documents:
  • New Savings Account Form (see downloadable form)
    • ---- specify which type of account is being requested (CD)
  • Screenshot of Secretary of State good standing certificate
    (view SOS Good Standing)
  • Property Management Agreement (for new business accounts only)
  • Lockbox ID (same as your Vantaca ID, provided by New Business team)
Important: For Certificate of Deposit accounts: Include the interest rate percentage

Email the completed New Savings Account Form and supporting documents to:
